Wife of missing diver wants search widened

It's been more than 24 hours since commercial diver Chevonne Bartholomew went missing but his wife believes her husband is still alive.

Pete-Ann thinks he could be drifting somewhere in the ocean, possibly outside of territorial waters and she's hoping the authorities widen the search.

Bartholomew went missing while conducting an underwater inspection of a boat anchored off Gasparee island in Chaguaramas on Monday.

The SSA Air Division unit and coast guard teams combed the Gulf of Paria yesterday into today with private fishermen and divers joining the search.
