Business Watch: IMF tells T&T to deal with foreign exchange shortage

The International Monetary Fund is telling this country that it should consider raising the overall vat rate and is commending the government for introducing taxes in its 2018 budget.

And the parent company of Courts furniture store-the Unicomer group has opened its regional headquarters here in Trinidad.

This after the group said it was told that it would have to compromise its ethics to invest in such a project in this country.
